The Vale of Aylesbury House Trust are a 'not-for-profit' Registered Social Landlord (RSL) that supply affordable housing for over 17,000 people. With over 230 employees and an annual turnover of £41 million, the trust maintains a growing social contribution to the Vale area.
After the expiry of the long-term lease from their Landlord, The Vale of Aylesbury House Trust purchased the freehold of Fairfax House. Francis Hunter were appointed by the trust to complete an in-situ refurbishment.
Francis Hunter Project management were employed early in the process to evaluate the building, advise on a refurbishment programme, procure Cat A and B works and to manage the lift installation and rood refurbishment through parallel work packages.
The works were completed on a design and build basis.
