As part of the rejuvenation of India Buildings, a Grade II listed building adjacent to Liverpool's waterfront, Francis Hunter undertook the project management, cost consultancy and contract administration of the upgrading and refurbishment of a complete office floorplate and common parts.
This brought together numerous small suites to create one of Liverpool's largest open-plan single floorplate office spaces to a Grade A standard. Providing a modern, flexible space designed to call-centre levels of occupancy within a grand historic building.
The project was procured on a design & build basis and completed to a high level and quality. This included comprehensive refurbishment and upgrading of the original art deco toilets, retaining historic features but supplementing them with modern, clean, contemporary materials.
