Francis Hunter was engaged early to assist Daswsongroup in the acquisition of the vacant plot which had been prepared ready to be sold off in parcels for employment-led redevelopment.  FHPM then went on to be appointed as Project Manager and Employer's Agent on the main development project.

The project, which was to accommodate Dawsongroup's four core businesses under 'one roof', comprised the construction of: a new two-storey office building; portal frame warehouse used for vehicle maintenance; extensive external access roadway and service yard areas accommodating vehicular storage; washdown and valet facilities; car parking; associated landscaping, including a drainage balancing pond; and, security fencing & gates. The total site area was 6.25 acres.

The project was successfully managed under a 'single stage' Design and Build form of Contract, and despite commencing piling as the first lockdown was announced in March 2020 the new Headquarters was delivered in just nine months which is testament to client, contractor and professional team.
