Cognizant is a world-leading professional services company transforming business, operating and IT models for the digital era.

Following previous successful projects, Cognizant asked Francis Hunter to act as project manager, quantity surveyor and employer's agent for the addition of new data networks at two sites of recently acquired company Zone Digital.

These sites were in London and Bristol with the works including construction of new comms rooms with gas suppression, leak detection and air conditioning as well as a new CAT 6 data network installed to existing desk, meeting and informal meeting layouts.

The works were carried out over three weeks onsite within occupied spaces so planning and programming were key to ensure no disruption to Cognizant Zone's working offices.

Francis Hunter managed the process through a negotiated route with a design and build contractor who had successfully completed Cognizant's recent Ealing office fitout.
