Asthma UK is the leading asthma charity in the UK. They are working to stop asthma attacks by funding research and campaigning for change. As with all charities, the cost of running the organisation is key.
Asthma UK successfully downsized their London office to a new space that embraces flexible design ideas that include a boardroom that doubles up as two meeting rooms when needed.
The fundamental objective of this project was to provide a cost effective new office space at a reduced square footage and demonstrate value for money throughout the whole process.
Francis Hunter provided strategies and hands on project management for all aspects of this challenging office relocation. From the initial workplace review and brief setting to the single stage turn key design and build tender, a focus on costs and quality was maintained.
The new space had some previous tenant fit out in place and through careful design development and cost control a good deal of this was re-used in the finished fit out.
