Francis Hunter were appointed by Arcadia Developments to project manage and act as contract administrator in the design and construction phases of this superb residential development in the highly desirable Central London location of Fitzrovia.

Following a successful planning application for change of use from Office to Residential, including a one storey roof top extension, the brief was to provide and deliver eight residential units across the first - fifth floors, with the external appearance being restored and sympathetic to the surounding conservation area and in line with the expectations of the local planning authority.

Designed by Darling Associates Architects and constructed to the highest quality standards, the primary consideration was to provide luxuriously appointed apartments whilst reviving the original historic context and industrial character of these buildings. In terms of key features, the buildings include renovated feature staircase and a newly installed lift system servicing all floors. High end specification fittings, finishes and appliances are present throughout. Externally, new metal framed double glazed full height windows have been installed to provide additional light.

The project was successfully managed under a single stage Design and Build form of contract.
